New Year’s Greetings with Illumination from Chicago

Happy New Year!!!

Last year, mainly due to everyone’s heartful support, I was able to acquire my athlete VISA, start my activities in the US including the position as the Youth Development Coach for USA Judo – a remarkable 1st year for our organization. I really want to thank all members supporting this activity.  In June of this year, there will be the first large scale event GKJN Cup – Chicago Youth Judo Competition – is planned.  Although we’re still a small organization and I still have a lot to learn, I vow to put my best efforts in teaching the children in the United States, the spirit of Judo for their health and prosperity.  Although it’s still difficult to see the end of COVID, I truly appreciate your support through 2022.

In the United States, it’s been said that between Thanksgivings, Christmas and New Years, the city becomes most gorgeous.  It’s the first time for me, but I also see that not only the city, but people’s homes becomes spectacular with illumination!!

Together with my New Year’s Greetings and in the hopes to lighten up everyone, I’d like to introduce to you the beauty of Chicago during this season. The photos are taken by myself!!  Although it’s already history, my mood is still Christmas.  Please read this article with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You”

First up is Downtown Chicago from above
(I really took this picture, it was a bit scary though)

Beautiful, isn’t it? I love this view of Downtown Chicago

Next, in the suburbs ther are houses that are as spectacular – I felt like I was in Disneyland!!
These are 7 homes I personally picked as the “Super Illumination Homes”

Chimney and roof – how did this family put this all up?

Simple, but beautiful

Lights ON!!!

I want to see what’s inside!!

This is a Theme Park!!

I believe this is the best WOW.  There’s a tunnel in front of the house and on the side, they show a movie every night.  Very unique setup!!

Lastly the illumination of the small downtown village where I live

I love this view too.

Did you feel a little warmth?  The scale and the enthusiasm to enjoy is one of the things that is fascinating about the US.  I am grateful to be able to take my challenge in such a country.  Think positive!!

Wishing a wonderful 2022 for everyone.
